Shakespear Boulangerie & Patisserie, SS15, Subang Jaya

The cake arrangement at Shakespear Boulangerie & Patisserie.
They have many different coloured macaroons and a really bright pink-red pavlova.
I tried their tester of certain biscuits and they're really good!

Shakespear is a lot like Levain. They have similar pastas and the same kind of pastries! Why? Well, Shakespear happens to be a relative of Levain!

I tried their pastries and their potato salad. Thumbs up!
I especially enjoyed their potato salad. Simple yet delicious with very 'refreshing' vegs.
Though a relative of Levain with lots of similar pastries, they don't have my favourite ham & egg pastry in Levain. Oh well, guess I just got to travel furthur for that one.

Their creamy mushroom pasta.
I am one who loves spicy food. But, to be honest, I don't really like their chili with this dish. The taste doesn't really blend well. I think it has a hint of lime added to it.
Their pastas' flavour is actually pretty good. However, the pasta itself gave a floury texture to it. It somehow felt as though the noodles were not made properly where everything is nicely blended together in the dough. Unsure if it's like this, or I just so happen to be unlucky that day.

Well, that's all for now. Bye!

Pizza Uno, Taipan USJ10

*apologizes for the oddly yellow photographs*
At Pizza Uno, Taipan USJ10
Seafood Carbonara. Very creamy, pretty generous with their sauce.
Tiramisu. Didn't really fancy it. It was alright at first, but it didn't make me feel like I want to finish it. Average.
Iced Chocolate. They used dark chocolate and mixed with loads of milk and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Simple, but I enjoyed it. Goes along great with the meal.
Creamy Mushroom. Pretty nice, but common and lacks a little taste.
My sister really liked this. The sauce is slightly sour, but has a great taste to it. The prawns were fresh and FAT.

I forgot the name of this pizza, but it's mainly meat with a little capsicum. Not bad.

Burgertory, SS15 Subang Jaya

Hi everyone, meet my friend. The pig - Guinea Pig.
Yeap! That's the name I've been calling him since I met him long long long time ago... when he had brown/black hair which resembles this :
He slowly grew out of it, but the name stuck. Sometimes, I even forget his real name! Jeng jeng jeng!
Anyways, in the first picture, you can see him munching on something called the mozzarella cheese stick from Burgertory!

They provide these near the soda station. (I remember taking photos of the place once but I can't seem to find the pictures)
The first powder is really salty, the second is ketchup, and the third is some chili powder? Not too spicy though. I didn't really add much of them in my food after that. Sometimes, certain things are nicer without adding anything. Don't you agree?

Here's what we had :
Shrooming Swine

 Swine Bacon & Cheese

They may not seem really nice from the photos on top, but trust me, they are REALLY GOOD.
Check this out...

Oh yums! The Swine patties are really really thick and juicy! Unlike those regular burger patties outside that are considered pretty dry. These are really really good! The burger may seem slightly small by circumference, but they're tall and thick. Even the buns are thick and fat! They're like.. pillows!
They are pretty generous with their bacon. Most places try to minimize the amount of bacon, but for Burgertory, the bacon reaches from one end of the burger bun to the other! Satisfied.
Here's how the set looks like.
They have 2 kinds of set. One coming along with only fries and refillable drinks, and the other being an upgrade which comes with extra onion rings and mozzarella cheese sticks. We were lucky to go to Burgertory then when they had the FREE upgrade for set meals.
This was our receipt at the end of the day.
Once again, I repeat. The burger patties are REALLY good.
That is all. Bye!

MM Cafe, Section 17, Petaling Jaya

A humble little cafe hidden at the little corner right to the end.
 See! Get what I mean?
It's all the way to the corner, AND blocked by another part of the building.
The interior is very comfortable and suitable if you wish to find some place quiet just to chill and study or relax. It's not a very big place as you can see even from the outlooks, but it's pretty comfortable.
Apparently, MM Cafe's is known for their brownies.
The brownies has a really thick texture and is nicely accompanied by my favourite - VANILLA ice cream!
Most brownies I've tried outside are not as thick. Most of them has the normal chocolate cake texture. For this one, it really is thick and more 'chewy' than others outside. *thumbs up*
We also ordered their tiramisu. It's really soft and creamy, and has a little more coffee bitterness taste to it. Not a very strong bitter taste, but enough to cover up your tastebuds. Some people would enjoy it, I for one didn't really like it as much.

That's all. Tata.

The Twelve Cups, Beach Street, Penang

Hi Everyone!
My family and I had a trip to Penang some time back. We usually don't stop for desserts, but the sweet-toothed sister insisted and ta-daa!

Here we are at The Twelve Cups.
Notice the mini lanterns? Well, I have a confession to make. It was around Chinese New Year when we dropped by. And.. I was just too lazy to post about it then.
My family aren't from Penang, so we actually 'Waze-d' our way here hunting for mille crepe cakes. They have quite a number of varieties for mille crepe cakes, and also some other pastries.
The counter front looked pretty nice. I like the environment there.

We settled down for a nice slice of Hokkaido Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake & Tiramisu Mille Crepe Cake. We only ordered 2 to share because we already ate lunch before this.
Hokkaido Chocolate
Tiramisu
My favourite was their Hokkaido Chocolate Mille Crepe Cake. It was something different than the usual flavours and was really really good. Tiramisu was good too, but it isn't anything really special. I pretty much wished to gobble down the Hokkaido cake myself.

For drinks, we ordered cappucino and chocolate milk (I forgot to take a picture).
The chocolate milk tasted completely like iced dutch lady and was not worth it at all. The cappuccino on the other hand was pretty good (so the family commented for I don't really know how to appreciate coffee just yet).
I really like how they decorated this part of the wall.
Everything's just simple yet lovely.

Well, that's all about The Twelve Cups!
